Wrestlers & Gymnasts are State Bound.

Four Solon High School athletes, two wrestlers and two gymnasts, will be competing at the OHSAA Championships this weekend. Wrestlers Anthony Collica and Devin Orr both qualified for the state wrestling championships by placing 2nd overall at last weeks Mentor District wrestling tournament. Freshman Anthony Collica competes at the 112 lb. weight class while senior Devin Orr is at 145 lbs. Wrestling begins in Columbus on Thursday. Gymnasts Rachel Bell, senior and junior Erin Rabb will be representing the Comets on Saturday at the state gymnastics championships hosted by Hilliard Bradley High School. The competition begins on Saturday at 12 noon. Both Rachel and Erin have qualified for competition on the beam while Erin will also compete on the uneven bars.
