Defending Northeast Ohio Conference Valley Division Champions Fill 2010 Schedule

The 2010 Solon football schedule has been filled with the addition of Worthington Kilbourne. Solon and Kilbourne entered into a two-year contract that will bring the Kilbourne Wolves to Solon in week two this season and the Comets will travel to Worthington week two, in 2011. For the first time in a number of years, the Comets will open the season with two home games. This gives our fans, who have been a tremendous part of our success over the years, a chance to come out and support the team early at Stewart Field. The Wolves are coached by Vince Trombetti and compete in the Ohio Capital Conference. Kilbourne finished the 2009 season with a record of 5-4. The Solon Comets enter the 2010 season coming off a historic 2009. For the first time in Northeast Ohio Conference history, the Comets won the Valley Division. Last season, Solon finished the regular season with a perfect 10-0 record and advanced to the Regional Finals in Division 1 Region 1.
